First Fridays Downtown
On the first Friday of every month, galleries and shops stay open late in historic downtown Silver City. Enjoy dinner downtown, take an art walk, or explore our eclectic shops. Look for art openings, special offers, family activities, and more.

Dedication of the Downtown Gateway Arch, 7pm. (on Broadway between Hudson and Bullard)
Block party under the arch, including a street dance with the Brandon Perrault Band, begins at 6pm.
Music by Hewlett Crist, Spanish classical and jazz guitarist, at Java the Hut, 611-A N Bullard, 5 - 8pm.
New work by Crystal Foreman Brown at Leyba & Ingalls Arts, 315 N Bullard.
Opening for September featured artists Cindy Lindhorn and Gerry Gordon at Silver Spirit Gallery, 215 W Broadway. Also treats and a photo op with a Silver City backdrop hand painted by Luanne Brooten.
Screenings of the new Volunteer Training Video and the exhibit "Free Flow: The Gila River in New Mexico" at the Silver City Museum, 312 W Broadway, until 7pm.
