Volunteer Opportunities

Silver City MainStreet Project is a volunteer driven organization, with staff to keep things moving along. What MainStreet accomplishes is often directed by what our volunteers are passionate about. Any amount of time you can contribute is appreciated.  If you would like to get involved, please call MainStreet at (575) 534-1700.

Opportunities:

• Staffing MainStreet events: providing information at the MainStreet booth, set-up, break-down, selling tickets

•  Assisting with mailings and other general office work

• Distributing newsletters and flyers to downtown businesses

•  Silco Theater maintenance projects

• Serving on a MainStreet Committee: Design, Promotions, or
  Economic Positioning

• Serving on a task force. These small groups work under a MainStreet committee to complete a specific task such as the Lighted Christmas Parade. Check with us to see what's going on currently.
