El Grito Head Start

After the parade, an awards ceremony was held at Little Toad Creek Brewery, with announcements made by MainStreet Board President, Patrick Hoskins.  The results in the School category were incredibly close with Aldo Leopold Charter School taking 3rd, Guadalupe Montessori School in 2nd, and El Grito Head Start taking 1st place.

In the Nonprofit category, tied for 2nd place, was the Model Railroad Museum, and the Church of the Good Shepherd, then the High Desert Humane Society for 1st.  Another tie for 2nd in the Commercial category, between Wells Fargo, and Little Toad Creek Brewery, with the US Forest Service/Gila Forest coming in a close 1st.

Silver City MainStreet project would like to thank all who participated and volunteered this year, as well as everyone who came downtown to see the parade and support local businesses.  See you next year!

Happy Holidays!!!
